Job Summary:

  • The Deputy Associate Superintendent of Data Governance serves as the lead for data quality, management, and integrity regarding the Department's federal, state, and local data collection and reporting requirements

  • As a supervisor, this position will have duties including, but not limited to: oversee and direct daily work activities; conduct regular one-on-one meetings; provide coaching, mentoring and discipline as necessary; administer performance evaluations; manage schedules and leave requests; hire and train staff.

  • In-state and out-of-state travel is required for this position.

Position Summary:

The Office Strategy, Analytics and Research (StAR) is seeking a Research Project Manager to play an essential role in facilitating college-wide data-informed decision making. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in various data extraction, data reporting, predictive analytics and data visualization approaches. They will also be expected to extend these approaches to the overall development of institutional effectiveness and efficiency in querying, analyzing, and presenting institutional data in an inviting way to a broad audience. Specific activities involve developing descriptive statistical reports related to enrollment, student success and other areas of Pima Community College’s operations, in support of the mission of the College. This position will be hybrid with remote work opportunities available.

Research Project Manager

Rate of Pay: Exempt - C44 - $68,301/year



The Office Strategy, Analytics and Research (StAR) is seeking a Research Project Manager to play an essential role in facilitating college-wide data-informed decision making. The Research Project Manager will be primarily responsible for capturing data from the College’s Business Intelligence (BI) or the enterprise system, creating reports and visualizations using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (WebI) or other appropriate tools. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in various data extraction, data reporting, and data visualization approaches. They will also be expected to extend these approaches to the overall development of institutional effectiveness and efficiency in querying, analyzing, and presenting institutional data in an inviting way to a broad audience. Specific activities involve developing descriptive statistical reports related to enrollment, student success and other areas of Pima Community College’s operations, in support of the mission of the College.
