2024 AZAIR Conference FAQ

Conference Location

Where is the conference being held?

The 2024 Conference will be held at the Helios Education Campus at 4747 N. 32nd Street Phoenix, Arizona 85018


How do I book my hotel room?

Embassy Suites Biltmore is conveniently located one mile from the conference location at 2630 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016

Hotel Rate: $149.00 per night  with a reduced parking rate of $10 per night. 

Currently, the sales tax rate is 8.6%, and the hotel occupancy tax rate is 12.57% (subject to change without notice).

Reservation deadline:  March 29, 2024

Reservations made after the deadline will only be provided on a space available basis at prevailing rates.

What if I find less expensive lodging at a different location?

The organization acquires a room block for your convenience, if the room blocks are not fulfilled, AzAIR is under contract and charged for the unused rooms.


Who can attend the conference?

Membership is open to any individual who conducts institutional research or related functions. It is also open to those individuals who are interested in institutional research.

What is the cost of the Conference registration? Are meals provided?

Breakfast and lunch are included on Friday, May 2, 2024.

Registration is required for all Pre-Conference meetings & Conference day sessions.

Why do I need to register if I am only attending Thursday meetings?

Preparing for your meeting arrival involves space planning, audiovisual needs, printed materials, and food & beverage cost to the organization. Thank you for registering your attendance!

There is not a fee for those attending ONLY the Pre-Conference Meetings on 05/02/24. Note: Pre-Conference registration does not include the Thursday Evening Conference Welcome Event.

Can I register a group of people from my office?

Yes, you can register more than one person on the same registration. If there are fees involved with this event, the fees for all registrants in the group will be added together and charged to the first person in the group. Only one form of payment can be used for group registration.

What are the Payment Options?

When finalizing registration, you will see three payment options.

1) QUIKPAY (for Credit Card payments)

     To pay by credit card, select the QuikPay option.   When you select the "Make Payment"l link, 

     you will be taken to the QuikPay website to pay your fees.

     Once the transaction is complete, you will be returned to your registration.

3) INVOICE (for Internal Transfers Only)

     This option is limited to Arizona State University staff. Departments will be billed directly through Workday. 

          Enter the required information as follows:

          Billing Company:   Arizona State University/YOUR DEPARTMENT NAME

          Billing Name:  Change to your Departmental Billing Contact

          PO #: Cost Center and Program (example:  CC1234/PG01234)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received after April 12, 2024 are not eligible for refund. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of cancellation notification. 

Transfers: Registrations may be transferred to another individual. Transfers must be completed by April 26, 2024. Please contact marnie.girard@asu.edu to transfer your registration.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
