Formal Presentation Sessions (Call for Proposals)
AzAIR invites faculty, staff, and institutional research professionals from Arizona’s two- and four-year institutions to submit presentation proposals for our formal session track. These sessions are designed for structured, in-depth presentations delivered to a seated audience, followed by facilitated Q&A. This format provides dedicated time for a focused, formal exploration of your work and is ideal for sharing completed projects, research findings, comprehensive analyses, and well-developed practices that benefit from a cohesive narrative and deeper discussion.

Conference Poster Session (New This Year)
Share Your Work in a Conversational Setting
This year we are introducing a Conference Poster Session designed to provide an informal and conversational way to share your work.
Poster presentations are ideal for works in progress, dashboards, research projects, pilot initiatives, or practical solutions from your campus. During a dedicated session time, all posters will be displayed together in a single room, creating an active, collaborative environment. Presenters stand by their printed posters and engage in informal, one-on-one, or small-group conversations with attendees as they circulate throughout the space. With many discussions happening simultaneously, this format encourages dynamic dialogue, idea sharing, and practical takeaways in a supportive setting.
Poster Content Guidelines
Your poster should clearly describe:
The question or challenge you addressed
The data sources and approach you used
Key findings or insights
Lessons learned or implications for practice
Visuals are encouraged. Think charts, dashboards, models, or frameworks rather than lots of text. The goal is to support conversation and idea sharing.
Printing and Setup
Presenters are responsible for printing and bringing their poster to the conference.
A 36 x 48 inch poster or tri-fold project board works well and provides plenty of space for visuals and key takeaways.
Submission Requirements
To submit, please provide:
Title
Presenter(s) and institution
A short abstract (150 to 250 words) describing your project
We welcome submissions from community colleges and universities and encourage practical, applied projects that others can learn from or replicate.
